Hiroki Okano with Tenkoo Orchestra

BACK HOME

With profound resonance of their sound and rhythm that might make you conscious of the origin of being and with living energy of their voices, the performance of Tenkoo Orchestra are supported by the souls of the native tribes of the world.

The beats born out of the traditional instruments spread out from the inner space of the player and flow into those of the audience and finally harmonize together. There you found music with love and hope and a sensitivity of the coming age.

Tenkoo Orchestra was founded by Hiroki Okano, a music producer, a solo performer, a founder member of Wind Travelin' Band and an event producer of LEELA, an ambient club event. The origin of this band was when the musicians
flocked together at the Wind Festival held in 1993.

Their improvisation with a variety of traditional instruments, their rhythm work that should be welcomed in the club scene and the dance work of Hiroko Kawanishi, all are mixed together and exceeded the category of the music we have known to make a completely new style with a perfect ensemble.

The messages that you would feel from the music of Tenkoo Orchestra show you what they feel is significant in the being of human and nature. In the western music scene, they have already had performances in some of the world largest outdoor art festivals. Their activities also exceed the borders and give birth to the new category of music; Tribal Rock. The "Tribal sound" of Tenkoo Orchestra is now on its way of spreading out!
